Description: This polygon feature contains geographic and attribute information for the purposes of depicting the location of Airport Activity Areas within the City of SeaTac, Washington. The data was developed for the 2018 Airport ILA. See 2018 Port of Seattle - City of SeaTac Interlocal Agreement document: http://www.seatacwa.gov/home/showdocument?id=21054.Description of Airport Activity Areas (AAA) from the 2018 Port of Seattle - City of SeaTac Interlocal Agreement document, beginning with Chapter 3.4 on page 13:Inside AAA: Properties located within the AAA.Future AAA: Properties designated as future AAA have the potential to be utilized for Airport Operations in the future. The AAA Map shall be amended to include some or all of these parcels in the AAA when these parcels are proposed for use in airport operations. However, amendments to the boundaries of the AAA shall only occur after the Port adopts the Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) and commences development projects after project authorization, which implements the South Aviation Support Area (SASA) component of the SAMP. Note that Chapter 3.4 section D indicates that there are AAA Edge properties and airport development located within the AAA shall address land use issues associated with edges of the AAA - see Chapter 3 section D for details.Outside AAA: Properties located outside the AAA.Addition: These areas are referred to in Section 5.2 as properties that are "physically located outside the boundaries of the AAA are subject to the same regulatory controls that apply to the properties located within the boundaries of the AAA". Please contact the Port of Seattle for additional details regarding these categories. Note that these Airport Activity Areas were developed based on King County parcel boundaries received by the City of SeaTac from King County on 8/17/2017, and there can be slight changes to parcel boundaries over time as the parcel fabric is updated, or some parcels may be be aggregated or subdivided.
